WWE: 10 Things From WWE History We Still Need Closure From
10. Owen Hart Not In The Hall Of Fame
Owen Hart was regarded as one of the most physically gifted pro wrestlers of his generation. As a member of the world renowned Hart family, Owen's heritage in the industry was undeniable and his career path to the top was obvious. As the younger brother of the Hitman, Owen immediately had a connection with fans. And thanks to the work he did establishing himself, he was able to stand out from his family to firmly be cemented as a main event contender. Owen was his own man, fully capable of succeeding at a very high level in WWE. But as fans know, all that ended on May 23 1999. On that night, Owen tragically fell to his death during the Over the Edge pay-per-view and since that time, many fans still remember the man whose career and life were both over much too soon. However, the real closure here is not all tied into Owen's untimely death. The main issue for fans when it comes to Owen is the fact that he is not yet in the WWE Hall of Fame. While others are seeing their day in the sun, the memory of Owen Hart is still there and needs to be addressed. For what he accomplished in his career and for what he meant to the fans that loved him, Owen Hart should have a place in the WWE Hall of Fame. And until he does, it's a topic that will always need closure.
