WWE: 6 Reasons Why Triple H Shouldn't Hate Online Fans

Why so angry Triple H? We're fans of WWE. Let's hug it out, brother.

This week on Raw featured a Triple H promo at the start of the show where he sarcastically ripped on internet wrestling fans. Since he's a heel who fundamentally says things to upset people he could deny that these are his true feelings, but it's pretty well known that he's never been a big fan of the online wrestling community. In this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer mentioned that within WWE it's pretty well known that Triple H has to embrace social media because of how much WWE pushes it, but he's not a fan of it. The report also noted that Hunter hates fans on social media that comment about the product in a negative way, which is somewhat understandable, but wholly expected. He also hates fans that act like they understand wrestling when they don't have a clue - welcome to fandom. Apparently the main reason for Triple H mentioning his friend "Mark" in a promo was because he was upset about fans who commented on the Battleground PPV, so it was his way of calling them marks in a negative way, which is what wrestlers tend to do when they're unhappy with fans. While Hunter isn't the type of guy to reply to fans on Twitter very much, he likely reads the tweets while he's on his private plane or maybe when he has some down time at the arenas. You would think that somebody like Triple H, who has been in the business for over 20 years, wouldn't really be bothered by anything, but then perhaps we're overrating the thought that he is upset by the fan reaction. Nevertheless, it's still interesting to talk about it and with that in mind, here are six reasons why Triple H shouldn't hate online wrestling fans.
