WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 3)

“You’re just one generation from a bone through your nose.”

Happy New Year everyone! You know, nothing says a new year like a recycled feud from 17 years ago, but instead of a hot Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon angle its a lukewarm Roman Reigns vs. Vince. However, I don€™t think anything cracked me up more in wrestling lately than the bosses' bizarre €œHappy New Year! Happy New Year!€ to random people at the end of Raw. It seems clear that he€™s lost his mind behind the scenes, so might as well make it a storyline. Bo Dallas had the line of the week when he told Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown €œIt sounds like you€™re telling a joke, but you never really say anything that€™s funny.€ Damn Bo, that was cruel, but so, so, right. Elsewhere, Summer Rae and Tyler Breeze broke up. So Summer and Fandango didn€™t work, neither did her pairing with Damien Sandow, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, or her tag team with Layla. So Sandow got once chance post-Miz to get over when he was stuck with Curis Axel, and Summer gets like 10 shots. Okay, fair enough. Oh yeah, and The Rock is coming to WrestleMania, so we should have something fun in WWE in about three months! No TNA on the list this week, because they didn€™t have any new material, but they€™ll return here with a vengeance next week. That is unless they put together an interesting and well-booked television program. Okay, yeah, they€™ll be back. Well, let€™s not waste anymore time as we gather up our pal Damien and DDT our way through WWE and TNA€™s worst of the week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
