WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 3)

7. Not Good

€œThis is gonna be a good one!€ Jerry Lawler €œThis is gonna be good!€ Booker T
Jerry Lawler and Booker T tried their damnedest to convince us on SmackDown that Alicia Fox and Brie Bella vs. Tamina and Naomi would be worth our time. They sounded almost giddy about seeing them wrestle. Do they not experience boredom like we do? We€™ve seen 500 variations of this match before. This is literally one of the least exciting things you could put together on WWE TV. Putting Bo Dallas vs. Adam Rose on Raw in a blindfold submission match may not be great, but it would at least be new. It€™s not really the women€™s fault (well, maybe Tamina and Brie can take some blame), but we€™re given absolutely zero reason to care. This giant stable warfare has been going on for months with no side ever picking up momentum on the other. We don€™t even know what team is the babyface side in the feud! The matches keep happening, but there€™s no consequences. There€™s no tag title for them to fight over, so a win or loss means nothing because it€™s never mentioned again. In fact, this is the 12th time Brie has taken on team B.A.D. in tag matches in some form on TV since the beginning of the Divas Revolution. That€™s not even counting singles matches! So what the hell is the point? I guess it ate up three-and-a-half minutes of TV time (because it wasn€™t even important enough to air entrances), but is that all they can aspire to accomplish with the Divas' division these days?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
