You remember when you were a child and, no matter how formulaic your favourite cartoon was, you'd tune in for it at the same time every single day? I once watched Dragon Ball Z for four consecutive afternoons after school, and literally all that happened was Vegeta hovered above someone, raised his power level, and said "aaaaaaaaaaaaaagggghhhhhh" a lot.
Four. Consecutive. Afternoons.
Anyway in entirely unrelated news, WWE is coming off the back of some near identical PPVs this summer with some fresh and exciting new matches. Matches that mix up the opponents, matches you thought you'd never see, and matches that may or may not contain very safe, very aware usage of steel chairs.
The Undertaker's back to help the man who humiliated him at WrestleMania, which makes sense, Strowman and Lashley have picked themselves off the hospital floor for a Last Man Standing Match, which makes sense, and the company have responded to the criticism of over-doing Baron Corbin versus Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans by bundling those matches into a mixed-tag where neither gender will likely lay a glove on the other, which makes S E N S E.
Still though, despite them spoiling the surprise of Aleister Black's opponent (which, not going to lie to you here, would have filled at least 3 entries for me otherwise), there's still a whole lot to get your teeth into. This is the cusp of SummerSlam season, after all,
