WWE: Ranking Hulk Hogan's WrestleMania Moments From Worst To Best

hulk hogan As Wrestlemania 30 approaches, the legendary Hulk Hogan is once again being rumoured to make an appearance of some sort when WWE takes over the Superdome, in New Orleans. Whether he does or not, the Hulkster already has established himself as one of the pillars that Wrestlemania was built on. From slamming Andre The Giant at "WM 3", to facing the "Ultimate Challenge" at "WM 6", Hogan established a legacy that few could ever measure up against. There have also been some questionable moments that I will discuss, including his appearances at the 1992 & 1993 events. So grab your vitamins, say a few prayers, and take a walk with me down the yellow and red brick road of nostalgia.

11. Wrestlemania 9 - Hogan Cashes In

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk1nLeZoN4c Let's just get this out of the way right now. In 1993, Bret Hart faced off against Yokozuna with the WWE championship on the line. One thing funny about this match were the Las Vegas fans chanting "U.S.A!" at two non Americans in Hart & Yoko. Late in the match, Mr Fuji tossed ritual salt into the eyes of The Hitman, causing him to lose his grip of the sharpshooter Yoko was locked in. Yoko rolled over and defeated Hart for the championship, or so we thought. Out came Hogan to check on his "friend" Bret, while he struggled with his vision. Coming out during or after a main event he was not involved in never bothered Hogan, ask 1988 Macho Man about that. For some odd reason, Mr Fuji decided Yokozuna was in prime physical shape enough to wrestle back to back matches, and challenged Hogan on the spot to fight for the belt. Bret Hart signaled for Hogan to go in the ring, and accept Fuji's challenge as the earliest foundations of Money In The Bank were laid. As much as Yokozuna terrorized the federation in the preceding months, him going out in a 20 second squash match he had no business being in was pretty weak. By this point, Hulkamania was running out of steam and the initial excitement of the title change could not hold up over the coming months. Hogan was given the championship because at that time a face needed to be standing tall at the end of 'Mania according to 1993 WWE logic. Poor Yokozuna, even poorer Bret Hart.
