WWE: Roman Reigns Will Face Triple H At SummerSlam - Report

Roman Reigns vs Triple H is scheduled to be a main event at SummerSlam, reports the latest Figure Four newsletter. Editor Bryan Alvarez described it as "pencilled in", so of course, plans could still change. The build for an epic Reigns vs Hunter feud started this past week on Raw, the Shield had a face-off with the Authority, culminating in Reigns hitting a spear on Hunter. Since that grand statement, we have also witnessed Reigns tweeting Hunter "@TripleH Kings don't win wars, Soldiers do. Watch your back Hunter because no one else will! #FallofTheKing" The feud will next work its way through Extreme Rules, where the Shield are expected to clash with Evolution. How WWE goes on to extend the Hunter / Reigns hostilities through to August is anyone's guess, but it would seem likely Rollins and Ambrose turn heel on Reigns at some point by joining the Authority. That will serve to stand Reigns out as the singles star of the group, extending his Authority feud to a PPV match versus Ambrose and Rollins, from which point he can clash with Hunter at SummerSlam. Bear in mind Hunter's feud with Bryan lasted for eight months, there's every chance we see Reigns prove the thorn in the Authority's side for some time now. Upon presumably winning a Triple H SummerSlam match, Reigns is perfectly positioned to become one of the biggest singles stars in WWE. He has the look, he has the ability, and he has the charisma. A possible Royal Rumble 2015 win and WrestleMania 31 main event berth could be on the horizon.
