WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 1)

These are strange times indeed for WWE...

Believe in The Shield, and believe in the Worst of the Week! It was an incredible wrestling overload these past seven days with Raw, SmackDown, Main Event, Impact and NXT Takeover airing. Hope you had a 10 free hours to take it all in. Only one of the shows this week would qualify as €œgood€ (Takeover), but hey, that€™s better than most weeks! We watched WWE limp towards the final push for Payback, and sadly witnessed Evolution and The Shield in the ring together for the last time on Raw. Best of luck to Batista on his movie promotion, perhaps the fans will actually tolerate him a little more if Guardians of the Galaxy is any good. If not, maybe they could hire the raccoon guy from the movie to feud with El Torito. That would give JBL months of material. So is this the end of Evolution? Is Daniel Bryan actually going to fork over the WWE Title? And what does it say about the state of WWE when the most entertaining thing on Raw is Alicia Fox giving a young man (who is actually Tugboat/The Shockmaster€™s son!) a wedgie? These are strange times indeed, so let€™s not waste any more time and take a look back at the most wretched, embarrassing and absolute worst things that happened this week in wrestling!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
