WWE's 10 Most Iconic Babyface Turns

Some of the best wrestlers ever have turned face in very memorable ways.

Professional wrestling is like a movie in a lot of ways. It's performance art that is designed to get the audience to cheer the heroes and boo the villains. That's the gist of it without getting too complicated. The cool thing about wrestling is that we can watch a guy in the role of a villain for many years, then all of a sudden they change the way they behave. Once that happens, the same people that boo them all the time start cheering. It doesn't always make sense, but when it does it's a really special moment. When it comes to turns, it's the heel turns that fans remember easier. It's more fun to be a heel, so we remember the times when somebody turns on a friend. Whether it was Shawn Michaels throwing Marty Jannetty through the Barber Shop set window or Seth Rollins betraying The Shield this year, we remember those kinds of turns easier. Face turns don't resonate with fans as much as heel turns because they can be done a lot easier. Sometimes a guy turns face just because they are being booked in matches against a heel. That's all there is to it. There have been times when it was a big deal, though. A lot of the greatest turns happened at WrestleMania because it is WWE's most important show every year. You'll see a few of those turns featured here. Here's a look at ten instances where a wrestler turned babyface in a memorable way.
