WWE's Kurt Angle To "Address Future" On Raw
"You won't want to miss whatever he has to say."
WWE.com have announced that Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is scheduled to "address his future" with the company on the coming week's episode of Monday Night Raw.
In WWE's words, the Olympian suffered a "crushing loss" to Baron Corbin last week, and we "won't want to miss" whatever he has to say in response to the humiliation.
Angle doubled-down on the, um, angle, with an Instagram post largely echoing WWE's sentiments.
At present, it's not known what the four-time WWE Champion's oratory contains, and there's no suggestion either way whether he'll continue his infrequent on-screen role in the promotion.
Angle's WWE involvement has dwindled significantly since he lost his Raw General Manager position to Baron Corbin last August. He was dumped out of the World Cup Tournament (to determine the best in the world) in the first round, and failed to make it through a qualifier for a spot on Raw's Survivor Series team.
Most recently, Angle was entry number four in the men's Royal Rumble, but was flung out in short order by Shinsuke Nakamura.
In other words, his 'legend' status has been systematically dismantled over the past few months.
Raw takes place for Portland, OR's Moda Center this Monday.
