WWE 2K25: 10 Biggest Reveals (So Far)
10. It’ll Feature 300+ Wrestlers
2K25 is already being touted as having the largest base roster seen in any WWE game yet. Last year's title peaked at just shy of the 300 mark with a whopping 295 choices, but 2K will outdo themselves again by beefing that up to 300+ this time. That number will be padded further via DLC packs and with various pre-order exclusives. The roster looks set to be absolutely massive, which is great for those adopting a 'more the merrier' outlook.
The important thing to many players will be a consistent level of quality between most character models. Obviously, top stars like Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes will have the most attention paid to their build, but lower-tier workers such as Andrade or Chelsea Green shouldn't suffer the embarrassment Lana/CJ Perry did years ago, or be left miffed by a misfiring art design like Bayley in 2K24.
Consistency really is going to be key.
It'll be great to have so many options on-disc though. 2K promise all the big current WWE stars, a whole host of legends and Hall Of Famers. So, if you want to go from defending the belt as Cody Rhodes to winning one as Yokozuna, you can. Of course, this is nothing especially new for the series (it's been bursting at the seams for a while), but it is heartening to know 2K want to keep pushing the number up and up.
Fingers crossed they spend just as much time crafting Carmelo Hayes as The Rock, because presentation is one of the biggest selling points for these games.
