Despite the fact that he only signed with Hamburg permanently in the summer, the Daily Mail have linked Newcastle with a late move to bring the 23-year-old to England - something they failed to do when he turned them down in the summer. With his current club apparently willing to do business, he's back in the news, but there's more chance of him becoming mayor of Newcastle than there is of him signing for the club. He represents too much of an outlay, and he was in fact replaced by the signing of Emmanuel Riviere, so it's unlikely anything could happen.
