The above screenshot is from an altercation she had with The Undertaker and Paul Bearer in 1999. 2 years earlier, 'Taker and Sable were almost packaged together as a double act, apparently because someone backstage thought Bearer wasn't sexy enough. Let's leave that one there.

An issue of WWF Magazine teased that the would-be power couple had been spotted by paparazzi whilst dating at a cafe, which is honestly preposterous to think about given how shadowy Undertaker's character still was in 1997. Sure, he was 'The Phenom' and an undead supernatural zombie, but that wouldn't stop ol' Booger Dead from having the hots for blonde Divas.

The company never followed up on any of this creatively on camera, but Sable did appear in a follow up issue of Raw Magazine sporting some 'Taker-style attire, and that felt more like a teaser of things to come. As the story goes, Undertaker's then-wife didn't like the thought of him being romantically involved with anybody even in kayfabe, and the legend himself probs wasn't sold on the thought generally anyway.

Overnight, all thoughts of packaging Sable next to 'The Deadman' were shelved and would never come up again, at least not until that aforementioned skit in '99 when Undertaker had morphed into the devil as part of his Ministry Of Darkness era.

It would've been an odd fit to replace Bearer with Sable anyway, to be honest. What would she bring to the table other than sex appeal? That's something 'Taker's gimmick definitely didn't need.
