3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (12 Oct - Results & Review)
2. Gang Wars Vortex Swallows Another
As though it weren’t bad enough already, Raw’s Gang Wars saga expanded its cast Monday night when it formally sucked in Solo Sikoa and revealed a new member of 946.
Sikoa teamed with his brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso to take on OTM and Royce Keys in a match that was more brawl than wrestling. Things broke down when Jaida Parker pulled the referee out and wiped him out, allowing any semblance of a match to disappear.
Still, Solo attempted to pick up the pin on Keys, only for a masked figure to attack him with a crowbar and then reveal himself to be Carmelo Hayes. Melo hasn’t been featured on WWE programming regularly in a while, last wrestling two months ago and last winning a televised match five months ago.
To be clear, Hayes has gone from elevating the United States Championship, to missing out on WrestleMania 42, to losing repeatedly, to barely being featured, to joining a stable that is being ridiculed in many circles, all in the span of eight months.
