36. The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 33)

After The Undertaker's streak was broken by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, 'The Deadman' had multiple matches that were not befitting of the legacy he had built for himself. Bray Wyatt injured himself the day of their WrestleMania 31 match and couldn't perform to his best, Shane McMahon was Shane McMahon in their WrestleMania 32 Hell In A Cell match, and then came Taker's final in-person Mania headline appearance with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33.

Fans were sick to death of Roman Reigns at this point, with 'The Big Dog' era of his career in full swing. Despite a full stadium in Orlando behind him, The Undertaker's performance was slow and sluggish. Considering this was just 4 years after he had stolen the show with CM Punk at WrestleMania 29, it was obvious to all that the veteran was out of gas and out of time.

Roman Reigns would get the victory and receive one of the biggest boos in WWE history the next night on Raw, but the real story here was that The Undertaker's in-ring career had reached a point where fans were almost pleading for him to hang up his boots. He would leave his gloves, coat, and hat in the ring at the end of the match, but he still had further chapters to write at WrestleMania.
