With reports earlier this month that both members of Private Party are currently dealing with injuries, there's now a little more information on what's keeping the tag team out of action.

Having been off AEW programming for 13 months, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen made their shock return on a February episode of Dynamite. However, that return was unfortunately short-lived, wrestling just three matches before Quen went down with an injury. Specifics of that injury are not known, bar it being some sort of tear. Storyline-wise, the Death Riders were credited with taking Quen out, and that was followed up on Collision by Kassidy cutting a promo on Jon Moxley's group. Since then, both members of Private Party have been off TV, and it was reported by PWInsider a couple of weeks ago that Kassidy is "banged up and hurt as well".

In somewhat of an update on this, Fightful Select reports that both Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen are dealing with the same injuries and that those injuries bizarrely happened in the same match, which was a loss to Moxley and Daniel Garcia on the 28th March edition of AEW Collision. At present, there is no timeline for a return for either Kassidy or Quen.

With an 84-day reign as the AEW Tag Team Champions to their name, there was said to be notable WWE interest in Private Party before the team made that shock return to TV, with many speculating that their 13-month absence was partly down to that interest, amidst reports of their contracts expiring.
