WWE Night Of Champions 2026: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True
8. Old Problems Haunt 2025 Rivals
Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton have worked a bunch of matches against one another since 2024. Many of them were tag efforts, but they clashed at SummerSlam and on a Saturday Night's Main Event in singles bouts last year. Neither of those PLE-level scraps are worth digging up for a second look though.
Will third time be a charm for the pair at Night Of Champions over in Saudi? Don't bet on it. Sadly, the duo don't seem to have a lot of chemistry together, and this match only really exists to get the Women's United States Title onto Jade so she can defend it vs. Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2026.
It's functional at best, basically.
Some interference from Chelsea Green (who's desperate to get on Tiffany's good side and become friends) could further their plot line, but it looks like this is the end of the road for Stratton in what's been a pretty nothing title reign. Yes, another one. At this rate, tagging with Chelsea and going after the Women's Tag-Team belts would be a blessing for her.
Meanwhile, Jade will presumably be a transitional champ so Charlotte can grab another strap in early-August. There's time yet for Cargill and Flair to really up the ante in their rivalry, but hopes aren't exactly high that Jade vs. Tiffy will be much to shout about.
That'll be especially true if they work a re-run of events at SummerSlam 2025 or that SNME special where Cargill won the Women's Title. A vast improvement will be needed.
