10 Spider-Man Villains Tom Holland's Spidey Should Definitely Fight
2. Scorpion
According to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko a spider’s natural enemy is the scorpion which is why Mac Gargan, the original Scorpion, should definitely appear in one of the new films.
Gargan started out as a standard private investigator, hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find out how Peter Parker managed to take such great pictures of Spider-Man. Spidey managed to slip through Gargan’s fingers so many times that the understandably peeved private detective turned to science and after undergoing a series of questionable experiments he dons the scorpion suit which slowly drives him mad.
In that classic comic book twist, Scorpion ends up going after Jameson instead meaning Spidey has to step in to save the life of his harshest critic. A great tale that would make a great film.
