The early 1940s were a time where the equal rights movement for women was still slowly blossoming, and it is out of these beginnings that Wonder Woman was born; unflinching warrior, compassionate leader, and everything in between.
It is in this panel that we get to witness this congruity between power and love, a sequence wherein Wonder Woman becomes less of a superhero, and more of a symbol of progress and courage in a world that needs that figurehead perhaps now more than ever.
