1. Jason Voorhees (Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday)
What can one say about this particular installment... how about the complete destruction of the character of Jason Voorhees? Jason was always (and still is) my favorite slasher. I was able to handle a lot of the changes that came that way to the character from becoming a zombie (which resulted in my favorite installment, part VII (Kane Hodder's first time playing the character) to his magic teleportation powers in part VIII. However, the straw that broke the camel's back is an evil worm creature thing that transferred from host to host. The idea that this was the essence of Jason's evil from going body to body was enough to just cause me to wretch, no matter how great the opening and the ending was. Then once we get the big reveal, that it is some sort of demonic hellbaby creature, at that point, I'm thinking Jason X is gold compared to this particular chapter but ultimately, it is still one of the best horror franchises ever.
