Here the team, having now morphed into international agents, are trying to regain Project Aries currently in possession of Dom's brother Jakob. He is about to be extracted when Ramsey runs his car off the road and uses an electromagnet to pull him through a restaurant and into their truck.

Now it would be easy to pick this apart, like if the magnet is that powerful why didn't it pull all the metal out of the building? Yet the scene itself is shot with such visceral pizazz that one can’t help but admire the audacity.

As Jakob’s car is pulled through the restaurant the camera swoops along with it creating the sensation that we are being pulled along as well. Also, the use of real cars to bolster the effect creates a practical look which always makes it easier to accept the unbelievable. Best of all, it's something we have never seen before thus earning this moment a nos-filled applause.
