Another child star who had the potential to make it big as an adult, Haley Joel Osment is still only 25 and popped up in The Spoils of Babylon this year, so might yet make a comeback. Nonetheless, he blew his chance at longevity in Hollywood simply by growing up. Apparently Hollywood was less interested in the teenager he became than they had been in the cute kid who'd starred in The Sixth Sense and A.I. Artificial Intelligence, and from 2002 he began to take roles voicing cartoon sequels and video games. Osment's talent is clear from his two biggest parts to date, and given his only crimes were putting on weight and getting (slightly) taller, he'll hopefully find a way back to our screens.
