10 Actors Everybody Thinks Can Act… But Can’t

9. Charlie Hunnam

Hunnam€™s been cruising by on sex appeal alone for years now. The problem with his acting is that he struggles to maintain accents, and has done ever since starring in Green Street (known alternatively in the U.S. as Green Street Hooligans as if they would have watched it). The star, who is originally from Newcastle, was meant to have a cockney London accent for the role. Considering that he's a British actor, being asked to do an accent from the same country should not have been a stretch, but sadly every time he utters a line, it looks like he€™s in actual pain trying to get it out. The trend has continued over the years as his star has mystifyingly grown. Even in his long-running breakout role in Sons of Anarchy, for which he was lauded by a fair few critics, it looks like a constant struggle for the man to maintain an American accent. He€™s simply not cut out for it and it boggles the mind that he continues enjoy success. Even his starring role in Pacific Rim was hard to digest, but no one seems to be owning up to the fact. Perhaps his bread-and-butter audience are just too enamoured by his natural good looks.
