8. Aaron Ashmore

If there's anyone who got the short end of the stick in the acting industry, it's Aaron Ashmore. You may be thinking to yourself: "Hey! I've seen that guy, he plays Iceman in the X-Men films!" but you'd be dead wrong. Aaron Ashmore is the twin of Marvel alum Shawn Ashmore, and has had a much harder time landing notable roles. Shawn is always one step ahead of Aaron when it comes to their respective acting careers, and that's not due to a lack of talent on Aaron's part. The story goes like this: when the boys were younger, Shawn stood in for his brother, who had fallen ill just before a commercial shoot. The part opened up a whole new world of opportunity for Shawn, who took to the acting life like a fish to water. Aaron, on the other hand, didn't get his first acting job until he was much older. While his ability was in a league of its own, the television and film industry already had access to a more experienced actor who fit the same physical criteria as Aaron. Much to our chagrin - and probably his, too - Aaron Ashmore is often pushed aside when he should be receiving as much attention as his brother. They're both incredible actors, and they each bring something completely different to the table, even with their physical similarities. Writing Aaron off, simply because he has a famous twin, is the last thing we or anyone in the acting industry should be doing.
