Jai Courtney is no stranger to massive movie franchises having been a part of several over the years. Since breaking into the industry in 2008, he has taken on roles in the Divergent series, Terminator Genisys, and Suicide Squad where he played Captain Boomerang.
Over the course of his career, he's taken on roles of numerous tough guys whose gruff exterior and unhinged nature suggest he would make for a perfect Wolverine in the MCU. He also has the physique having already gotten his body into 'superhero' shape to star in Suicide Squad, but other than that, he's a talented actor fans would love to see pop some claws.
Courtney's move to the MCU may be hampered by the fact that he took a role in the DCEU, but seeing as that franchise is getting something of a reboot, it may not be a conflict after all.
Regardless of the other projects Courtney is working on, he's a good fit for Wolverine. His ability to play a character with a crappy attitude is one of the reasons people love to hate him, but looking past that, he's good at what he does even if what he doesn't isn't that nice.
