10 Actors That Should Play James Bond Next After Skyfall

10. Mark Strong (49)

Suave, sexy, mysterious with a hint of danger, Mark Strong€™s great turn in the otherwise bore-fest Body of Lies made Strong seem like the Bond candidate we should have been looking at long ago. The man born Marco Salussolia may already be in his 40s, but so were Brosnan, Dalton and Moore when they entered the franchise. It could be a role that finally propels Strong from solid character actor to respected leading man. Sure, he€™s as bald as an egg in real life, but stick a wig on him and you€™re fine. They did it for Sean Connery, and he spent decades playing the handsomest spy this side of the Eastern Bloc. Obviously Strong is the wildcard on this list - at 49, just how much mileage could you get out of him? - but, like Owen, he would be a shoo-in to play a Bond the elder.
