Just look at Eric Bana: people like him make the rest of the worlds males seem pointless. Put him in a bar with Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, and theres a good chance Bana would be the one taking the ladies home that night. Oh, and as well as having Bonds pulling power, hes a good actor, too. Since Daniel Craig bucked the trend and showed us that producers were prepared to cast acclaimed acting talent in the role of James Bond, it left the door open for celebrated performers like Bana. The Australian also has a comedy background, so he can bring the funny along with the edgy magnetism. James Bond has been missing his wit, and Bana who somehow made demented serial killer Mark Chopper Reid into a laugh-riot could be the man to bring it back. He may be the same age as the current 007, but were Craig to step down after
Skyfall, it's still easy to imagine Bana looking the part for a few good years.
