10 Actors That Went From Their Best Movie To Their Worst
8. Daisy Ridley - Star Wars: The Last Jedi To Ophelia
Getting her huge break in Star Wars: The Force Awaken as main hero Rey after making her debut in (very) low budget horror Scrawl the same year, Daisy Ridley is only beginning to establish herself in the movie industry.
While the latest trilogy of Star Wars films has divided audiences greatly for numerous reasons, the depth she attributed to the character during The Last Jedi alongside her complex relationship that formed with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) has ensured that this performance has stood out as the English actor's best yet.
Before Ridley ended her stint as Rey in The Rise Of Skywalker, however, she starred in the small indie drama Ophelia, a re-imagination of Shakespeare's Hamlet adapted from the book of the same name by Lisa Klein.
Though the film presented an intriguing premise and impressive cinematography from director Claire McCarthy, the uninspired and dry performances from a cast that included Naomi Watts and George McKay resulted in a very dull experience.
Ridley's passionless presence, however, proved to be the worst. Cold and detached, Ridley seemed to be going with the motions without adding any personality to the tragic character.
Sometimes being forgettable is worse than being awful.
