10 Actors Too Young For The Roles They Played
8. Tilda Swinton As Madam D
Tilda Swinton has the ability to melt into whatever role she plays, from the gorgeously grim vampire flick Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), to her sage Ancient One in the Marvel Universe. One of her most unrecognizable characters is an oddly aged-up part in the lush Wes Anderson film The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014).
In it Swinton, at only 54, plays the elderly Madam D whose age appears to be anywhere from her late 80s to 100. Her look is achieved through prosthetics and hours of makeup. The part could have gone to someone who was actually elderly, but it’s Swinton, and with acting chops like hers she can do whatever she wants.
