This South African actor is likely very familiar to fans of the Sci-Fi genre, thanks to his connection with Neil Blomkamp. He has played a significant role in each of the director's feature-length movies, and massively impressed audiences in every single one.

Thanks to his incredible versatility, fantastic comic skills and ties to Sci-Fi, he's an actor who seems perfect for Star Wars.

Copley is likely best recognised as Wikus Van De Merwe in District 9, the unfortunate government worker who gets infected by alien substances and loses his humanity. From this performance, it is easy to see how great he is at making roles likeable, despite their shortcomings, as his District 9 character was thoroughly pathetic at times, yet still kept audiences invested.

He has also shown his potential as a villain in the fantastic looking Elysium, where his character Kruger hunted the protagonist with a terrifying amount of rage. This shows how he could quickly take on a villainous role and exceed in it.

He could play any part from a wild-card pilot to a dark Sith Lord and excel in either.
