10 Actors Who Weren't Able To Let Star Wars Go

9. Richard LePartmentier

Star Wars Force ChokeCharacter & Film: Admiral Motti, A New Hope. Before Star Wars: Very little, aside from brief appearances in Stardust (alongside David Essex!) and the original version of Rollerball. After Star Wars: LePartmentier's only big post-strangle role was Lieutenant Santino in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He also made brief appearances in Superman II and Octopussy (which I covered in my Bond article here), along with TV work like The Professionals and Reilly: Ace of Spies. He was in addition a regular on the conventions circuit until his death earlier this year. Did He Deserve Better?: On the face of it, no. But considering how iconic his moment in Star Wars became, you'd have though he would have found it easier to get decent parts. Look No Further: Lieutenant Santino in Who Framed Roger Robbit (1988). Don't go near the dip.
