Sticking with the sequel trilogy, model-turned-actress Lily Cole had an ever-so brief role in The Last Jedi's Canto Bight casino sequence, where she stood alongside Justin Theroux's Master Codebreaker as he enjoyed a spot of gambling.

Referred to as "Lovey", Cole's character has just a single line of dialogue during this sequence, but her extravagant hairstyle and intricately-woven costume ensured she remained somewhat memorable.

Cole had significantly more screen time over in the Whoniverse, where she played the seductive Siren in the 2011 episode The Curse of the Black Spot. This villain-of-the-week tormented the Eleventh Doctor and a gang of pirates onboard a stranded ship, snatching them away to their presumed deaths.

In true Doctor Who fashion though, it was eventually revealed that the Siren was actually a misunderstood alien, and was stealing people not to kill them - but to cure them. Cole's unique look contributed greatly to the Siren's otherworldly presence, and she was a standout in an otherwise unremarkable episode.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
