Jumping into prominence in 2013 playing the role of Paul Spector in The Fall, and then taking the controversial job of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades series, Dornan is no stranger to the small and large screen. His star power is growing and not currently overwhelming, so now could be the perfect time for him to take the role that turns him into a massive star.
Dornan is an incredibly charismatic performer, and the energy that he gives is both sophisticated and dark. His history of playing characters who are not trustworthy and even act as the villain would mean that his take on 007 could feature a more sinister tone.
Hiring Dornan would fit the classic requirements that James Bond is known for, and simultaneously allow for a darker, harsher direction for the character. Taking him down a less heroic route, but ultimately acting as a perfect anti-hero.
