8. Harrison Ford - Indiana Jones
After 15 long years away from the whip-cracking spotlight, Harrison Ford is set to make his (hopefully) triumphant return as Indiana Jones in this year's Dial of Destiny.
But with the screen icon now sitting at 80 years of age, it appears his days of "falling down for you" are well and truly over in the wake of bringing the most famous archaeologist in movie history to cinemas one last time.
As Ford would note during the recent Disney D23 Expo first reveal of Indy 5 footage, "this is it!", and it does now genuinely seem as though Jones' last ride could be very much be on the horizon.
The Han Solo legend would also reveal to Empire that he "thought it would be nice to see one where Indiana Jones was at the end of his journey." Though he'd also note that his final showing as the immortal Jones wouldn't be acting as a passing of the baton moment either and he was just "telling a story" in this final outing.
Either way, enjoy the wise-cracking, globe-trotter while you can, because he looks to be very much riding off into the sunset after his latest big-screen adventure.
