Shia LaBeouf is an extremely odd fellow, and his behaviour over the last few years has become more and more erratic. Anyone who arrives at a film premiere with a bag on their head which reads 'I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE' has to be a bit of a moron, don't they? It's not just his off-set antics that are bemusing though, and he has gained a reputation for being very tough to work alongside. The 28-year-old is known for his method acting, and his Lawless co-star Mia Wasikowska saw it at close hand, stating, "He's a very method actor, and so I was on the receiving end of the method." In other words, he was pretty horrible to her during filming. There were also rumours of a scuffle between LaBeouf and Tom Hardy on the set of the same film, with the former punching the latter in the face. The Transformers star has failed to get along with many of his co-stars, most notably Alec Baldwin during the making of their Broadway play Orphans.
"One day he attacked me in front of everyone. 'Youre slowing me down, and you dont know your lines. And if you dont say your lines, Im just going to keep saying my lines.'
"We all sat, frozen. I snorted a bit, and, turning to him in front of the whole cast, I asked, 'If I dont say my words fast enough, youre going to just say your next line?' I said. 'You realise the lines are written in a certain order?' He just glared at me." LaBeouf's career is in danger of spiralling downwards, after being hailed as one of the most exciting actors of his generation at one point, and his troublesome behaviour certainly isn't helping matters.
