10 Actors Who Clearly Knew Their Movie Sucked

9. George Clooney In Batman And Robin

Batman And Robin, while nowhere near as bad in 2019 as it was back when it first came out (in fact it's downright tame in today's world) is still pretty bad in terms of being a Batman movie. And no one is more keenly aware of this than those with the unfortunate luck of actually having to make it. This, of course, includes leading man George Clooney.

Clooney has been around the bend enough to know when he's in a stinker, so it's no surprise that he knew from minute one that this movie was going to be a dud. Fortunately, it's still George Clooney, the king of charisma, so he still turns in a damn good performance for what he's asked to do, just like the rest of Batman And Robin's cast.

However, there's only so much a great actor can do for a script like this. A theme that will be repeating itself multiple times throughout this list.
