7. Stephen Dillane
Stephen Dillane was phenomenal as Stannis Baratheon in Game of Thrones. While the show may have ruined the majority of its side characters and squashed any potential for the actors to give compelling performances, Dillane did stand out as a great presence within the show.
His controlled and cautious performance presented a strong sense of purpose and intelligence in everything that the character did. This is an aspect that could translate correctly not only to the nature of Doom but the MCU in general.
As the Marvel films have progressed, there seems to be an over-reliance on relatable humour. This desire for comedy even happens in the case of its villains. Casting Dillane would help to bring some severity to the role and alleviate said concerns.
