This entry is slightly less conventional than what would be an expected choice for this role, mainly down to the fact that Ejiofor is known for his more restrained performances; however, this benefits his casting in two distinct ways.

Firstly if a more believable approach was taken, Chiwetel would most certainly be able to portray a compelling character capable of the things Jervis Tetch is known for. With his performance in the Marvel Universe, it's clear that Ejiofor can play exciting and complex villains. If Tetch were able to continue down the authoritative intimidating path, Ejiofor's style would blend superbly.

Secondly, in contrast to this, the fact that he is known for being restrained and controlled would make a more erratic and stylised performance more compelling. It would be a distinct departure from his traditional performance choices and thus help Chiwetel (and even the audience) himself become lost and transform into an unrecognisable character, which we are sure he would be more than capable of.
