10 Actors Who Hate Their Own Movie Performances

6. George Clooney - Batman & Robin

To cut right to the chase, Batman & Robin is an awful movie. Fans know it, critics know it, the studio knows it, and pretty much everyone involved with the film knows it too - including the former Dark Knight himself, George Clooney.

On many occasions, Clooney has openly admitted that Batman & Robin is a giant turd, but rather than just dunking on his co-stars or the filmmakers, he takes a lot of the blame for the poor final product, and puts it on himself.

Even as recently as November 2020, he called the movie "terrible", while also confessing that he was terrible in it. In the past, he's described his performance as "weak", and perhaps most famously of all, he went on the Graham Norton Show and explained how sorry he was for almost "destroying the Batman franchise".

It's refreshing to see a movie star (especially one as big as Clooney) speak so openly about some of their failures, and hey, on the plus side, Batman & Robin is a movie that people will never forget - even if it's for all the wrong reasons.

He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
