"People who make movies for Marvel, why don't you acknowledge what happens on our show? Why don't you guys go ask them that? Cause they don't seem to care!"

Agents of Shield was the spinoff show from The Avengers, starring Agent Coulson from the movie and a band of secret Shield agents with special powers. But the MCU has made a habit of studiously ignoring whatever the Marvel heroes on TV are up to, even though it has been repeatedly stated that both the shows and the movies take place in the same universe.
In the media equivalent of a neglected stepchild jumping up and down in front of a parent screaming "Notice me!", Chloe Bennet, who is part of the cast of Agents of Shield, opened up about a potential crossover between her show and the larger MCU. When a fan asked her about the connection between the movies and the TV shows, Bennet responded by redirecting the question at the Marvel head honchos, and claiming they don't seem to care about that.
It is a sore point for actors and fans that while events in the Marvel movies were often shown to spill over into the TV shows, the reverse was never true. You never saw Steve Rogers strolling into Shield headquarters to check up on the definitely-not-dead Agent Coulson, or Black Widow giving fighting tips to new Shield agents.
