If this list can teach modern day actors one thing, it would be not to get unnecessarily physical with a professional wrestler on a film set. It's just not worth it.

Daniel Craig may have learned that the hard way on Spectre, but at least he wasn't intentionally trying to p*ss off his larger than life co-star.

Jim Carrey on the other hand definitely got exactly what he was looking for whilst shooting Man on the Moon (1999).

Playing Andy Kaufman, the legendarily provocative comedian who famously wrestled Jerry Lawler in real life, Carrey fully immersed himself in the world of his character and this involved him legitimately picking a fight with 'The King' on set when he was working on the movie.

Needless to say, Lawler wasn't the performer who was hurt in this exchange.

After Carrey spat at the wrestler, Lawler allegedly attacked the Dumb and Dumber star and put him in the hospital.

It's hard to feel sorry for Carrey if this was the case, as it doesn't take a genius to know that you're going to suffer some serious consequences if you choose to gob at a 240 lbs grappler. Regardless of whether you're 'in character' or not.
