10 Actors Who Make Everything They're In Better
5. Steve Buscemi

When you think of great character actors, chances are you're going to picture Steve Buscemi, an actor so prolifically used to playing supporting roles that his lead casting in the series Boardwalk Empire was actually deemed a pretty big surprise.
Buscemi has been in over one hundred movies since the 1980s, and is always at his best when he's on the side, playing an antagonist, comic relief, or both. He soared in Fargo as its clumsy villain, had barely any lines but still shone in The Big Lebowski, and emerged the hysterical MVP on Tarantino's violent debut Reservoir Dogs.
But what makes Buscemi such a great performer isn't that he's worked with so many influential filmmakers - he's also been in some truly awful films, all of which have been made much better with him around (looking at you, Armageddon).
He's had iconic voice roles, he's been hilarious, creepy, violent, damaged, and wonderfully odd, and he's always one of the best things about every film he's in.
