Jamie Bell has been engaging audiences since he was a young kid dancing his little heart out in Billy Elliot, and has been consistently impressive by the choices he's made as an adult actor. His most recent turn in Snowpiercer does nothing if not prove that he knows how to pick projects. Jamie Bell might not seem like an obvious choice for the role of Newt Scamander, but since when has obvious always been the best option? If he was cast, it's clear that he would have a markedly different interpretation of the character than any other actor. We can see him bringing a little bit of an edge to Newt Scamander, maybe less of the eccentricity that the other actors on our list have.
