As the years have gone on, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown to the levels no movie franchise has ever reached before, its cast list has expanded with it. From beginning with Robert Downey Jr., to boasting an ensemble cast like no other in Infinity War and Endgame, it almost feels like it would be easier to list those that haven’t yet appeared in the MCU than those that have.

However, there is always room for expansion, and with potentially countless Marvel Studios projects on the horizon, there will always be new and exciting casting prospects that could come true.

While there are some, like John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, that fans are desperate to see in the franchise, there are other instances where the actors themselves have an MCU role on their radar.

This is nothing new in the world of comic book movies. Both Simu Liu and Barry Keoghan lobbied for superhero roles on social media before being cast in the MCU as Shang-Chi and Druig respectively, while Stephen Lang’s campaign to be cast as Cable in Deadpool 2 ultimately fell short.

There are plenty of actors in Hollywood right now who would love to join the MCU, but will their wishes ever be granted?

10. Lana Condor

Fox’s X-Men universe couldn’t be described any better than by the phrase ‘mixed bag’. It boasts some true gems in the form of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Deadpool, and Logan, but at the other end of the spectrum lies X-Men: Origins, Dark Phoenix, and X-Men: Apocalypse.

There are many things that the franchise did that annoyed fans, mishandling many classic and beloved characters along the way. One such character was Jubilee, who was brought to life by Lana Condor in X-Men: Apocalypse.

This was her first ever acting credit, and while she has gone on to star in the To All the Boys franchise, she would jump at the chance to return to the X-Men in the MCU. Recognising that her character simply wasn’t done justice back in 2016, as she was essentially little more than an extra for the most part, Condor believes that there is the potential to give her the role she deserves in the future.

An animated Jubilee will be coming to the MCU with X-Men ’97, which could potentially open the door for a live action return as well.
