10 Actors Who Were Scared Of Other Actors

8. Steven Seagal Shocked John Leguizamo With A Punch To The Chest (Executive Decision)

Back in the '90s, Steven Seagal was one of the most famous action stars around, and whenever audiences sat down to watch one of his movies, they were likely expecting one thing, and one thing only: for him to kick a lot of ass.

This expectation was usually met, but one thing that people didn't know was that Seagal also liked to kick ass offscreen, too - just ask John Leguizamo.

The two actors collaborated on the 1996 action-thriller Executive Decision, and while the movie works well and is entertaining enough, it wasn't exactly happy families behind-the-scenes. According to Leguizamo, Seagal - on his first day - walked onto the set, told everyone he was in charge, and then slammed Leguizamo into a brick wall.

Leguizamo told this story in an interview a few years back, and it's completely bizarre. Seagal apparently arrived at the first rehearsal and proclaimed "I'm in command", prompting Leguizamo to laugh, because he thought it was a joke. It wasn't.

Leguizamo got an elbow in the chest and shoved against a brick wall as a result, leaving him equal parts shocked and terrified. He only had one word for Seagal: "why?" and unsurprisingly, they haven't made a movie together since.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
