5. Charlie Sheen

To chronicle the true extent of Charlie Sheen's decline into madness would take up more than the length of one article, so suffice to say that this guy went overboard in his bid for true insanity - to the point that his TV gig on Two and a Half Men hit rock bottom (he was fired), so he decided to go batsh*t crazy and cash in on said craziness in the process. Alcohol, drugs, prostitutes, domestic violence - Sheen has done it all, apparently, and he continues to rack up the crazy points with each passing day. But Charlie Sheen Mania didn't last very long, did it? And though for a while he might have felt alive and in the moment and relevant, Sheen looks like a loser in retrospect; nobody takes him seriously, and Hollywood want nothing to do with him any longer. He'll score the occasional bit part, of course, but his days as a movie star are (thankfully) long over. Why, after all, would any director or producer in their right mind want somebody like Charlie Sheen hanging around their set? He's the very opposite of a professional!
