10 Actors Whose Voices You Want To Steal As Your Own

9. George Takei

"Oh myyyyy". If being born in America to Japanese parents gives you a voice that is as ice cool and addictive as George Takei's, then every set of parents from Japan should be moving to the United States in a bid to conceive the next Lieutenant of the USS Enterprise. Most well known for his role as Sulu in the original series of Star Trek from the 1960s, and then the films that followed it, it's difficult to associate Takei with anything else due to his iconic geek status. His voice always rings of an air of mystery; the sort that if he was to stop talking mid-conversation you would literally have to scream "tell me more!" It's both unimaginably cool but also with a hint of warmth. One that says Takei can get down to business when things get serious, but also isn't too much of a hard-ass on the starship. In order to continue receiving your fix of Takei's voice, long after his appearances in Star Trek have ended, check out his abundance of work on social networking sites, namely his Youtube channel, Takei's Take, in which he discusses technology news to hilariously cheesy effect.
