10 Actors With Shocking Criminal Records

7. Nick Nolte - Counterfeiting & DUIs

3-7-Nick-Nolte-mug We've all seen the above mugshot, arguably the most famous snap of any actor who has been hauled into a police precinct, but Nick Nolte's legal troubles began almost four decades before his 2002 DUI arrest in Malibu. In 1965, at the tender age of 24, Nolte was arrested for selling counterfeit documents, being fined a hefty $75,000 and slapped with a sturdy 45-year suspended jail sentence (one which, of course, only ended just a few years ago). Nolte arguably paid a very personal price for this, as it prevented him from serving in the Vietnam War, something which made him feel much anxiety and self-doubt as a youngster. In more recent incidents, Nolte is known for his alcohol and drug abuse, and the aforementioned 2002 DUI arrest resulted in Nolte receiving three years' probation, and an order to go to drug and alcohol addiction meetings.
