Surely Richard Gere, who remained such a huge and popular force in Hollywood throughout the '80s and '90s, has featured in a sequel to one of his movies? Pretty Woman 2: Even Prettier? Another Officer and a Gentlemen? More Internal Affairs? Nope, not one. Despite the fact that there were plenty of potential franchises just waiting to happen admist Gere's filmography, a follow-up never successfully materialised. Granted, Gere is actually set to star in the upcoming sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, but he didn't feature in the first movie in the series, so that doesn't really count. Looking back, then, it's pretty amazing to find that this guy has managed to stay sequel-free for so long - especially since his flicks have grossed over a billion dollars at the box office. Still, we could have done with Pretty Woman 2 instead of Runaway Bride. If He Had To Make A Sequel? Pretty Woman, obviously. Just for kicks.
