10 Actors You Didn't Know Have Signed Insane Sequel Deals

3. Armie Hammer - The Lone Ranger

Number Of Films: 2 or 3 More Despite the fact that The Lone Ranger turned out to be something of a flop for Disney and was panned by most of the critics who laid eyes upon it back in 2012, Disney are still apparently toying with the idea of rolling out a huge franchise. A handful of the original actors are signed on to reprise their roles in sequel movies after all, the most important of which is Armie Hammer, who played the character of the title. Hammer reportedly has a contract that specifies he return to the role in 2 or 3 movies, and has even said himself that he is contractually obliged to "a few" more, should they ever happen. Johnny Depp hasn't agreed to more sequels, apparently, but has specified in a number of interviews that he would still be up for them if they came at the right time in this career. "If they started talking sequel on this I'd be ready to go in a second," he said in 2013. But times change, and nobody is sure whether Disney will bother.
